Assistant Box Office and Accounting Manager, 30 hours per week
Background:
The Sarasota Concert Association, celebrating its 82nd season, presents world-renowned orchestras, chamber ensembles and recitalists in concerts throughout the Sarasota region, including 5 Great Performers Series concerts, 4 free Music Matinees, Special Event concerts, and fundraising events. The concerts take place in Sarasota at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Sarasota Opera House, Riverview Performing Arts Center, and St Andrew United Church of Christ.
This part-time, salaried position works primarily from home though is required to be onsite for all concerts, attend in-person meetings, etc. The position reports to the Box Office and Accounting Manager, and to the Executive Director for certain responsibilities. Sarasota Concert Association uses the Audience View/OvationTix ticketing system.
The hours for this 30-hour per week position are Monday – Friday from 10 am – 4 pm.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Box Office:
Duties to include assisting with all advance and onsite ticket sales, creating sales reports and sales analysis reports, as well as generating mailing lists. This position also assists in ticket mailings and must be onsite for all evening and matinee concert performances.
Accounting:
Assist with payment of invoices, including coding of invoices and forwarding them to the accounting firm that creates checks for payment.
Acknowledgement Letters:
Create thank you letters for ticket donations and contributions.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented and a careful proofreader
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Must be proficient in Excel
- Box Office experience and knowledge of a ticketing system strongly preferred
