Free Concerts Showcasing Regional Musicians
The Sarasota Concert Association presents Music Matinees, featuring exceptional regional musicians performing a variety of musical styles from classical to popular. The concerts last about one hour, starting at 2 pm at a NEW location:
St. Andrew United Church of Christ, 6908 S Beneva Rd, in Sarasota

Wednesday, February 11: Jonathan Godfrey & Don Bryn
Registration opens Monday, Jan 12, 2026 at 10 am
Guitarist Jonathan Godfrey joins pianist Don Bryn in a program featuring selections performed on mandolin, guitar, and banjo, highlighting an afternoon of rare multi-instrumental artistry and stylistic range.

Rising singers featured in the winter Sarasota Opera festival season will perform arias and duets.
Once the event reaches capacity, a waitlist form will be posted on this page. Anyone who signs up will be notified by 5 PM the day before the concert if space becomes available.
Wednesday, April 15: Hot Club SRQ
Registration opens Monday, March 16, 2026 at 10 am
Violinist Keven Aland leads the popular local trio (with Jon McLaughlin, guitar; and Glenn Stevenson, bass) in a program that traces the history of a jazz style inspired by guitarist Jean “Django” Reinhardt.
