Free Concerts Showcasing Regional Musicians
The Sarasota Concert Association presents Music Matinees, featuring exceptional regional musicians performing a variety of musical styles from classical to popular. All concerts are at 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Sarasota.
Admission is free but registration is required. Online reservations open 30 days before the concert. Once we have reached capacity, we will have a waitlist sign-up available. You will be notified before 10 am the day of the concert should seats become available.
2024-25 Season concerts will be announced in the Fall.

The three colleagues at the Sarasota Opera were researching repertory when they discovered a trove of lesser-known pieces they felt had been overlooked and merited to be heard. This motivated the official formation of their ensemble and led to a number of subsequent performances, earning them praise for their interesting programming and expressive playing.
